Impacting the Community
Isaiah 61 v 1-4 tells us “the Lord has anointed me to preach good tidings to the poor. He has sent me to heal the broken hearted, to preach liberty to the captives and the opening of the prison to those who are bound, to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord and the vengeance of our God and to comfort all who mourn …”

Victory Praise Community Church seeks to achieve this goal by:-
Working through Hope House to reach out to the hurting and needy people within our community.
This goal will be achieved through:-
- Sharing the love of God in a practical way eg, grass cutting, gardening programme and
  shopping programme.
- Visitation programme to elderly and vulnerable residents within the community
- Facilitating programmes which promote family values.

Continuing the work currently being undertaken by the ClubReach Team. ClubReach:
- Reaches out to young people in our town who frequent pubs and clubs;
- Portrays the love of God in a practical way;
- Seeks to highlight the dangers of alcohol and drug abuse;
- Seeks to promote safe clubbing;
- Seeks to maintain a Godly and reconciliatory presence on the streets of our town which
  has known violence and division; and
- Is a listening ear to many vulnerable young people in our town.

Establishing a street evangelism team which
- Distributes literature to promote the Gospel of Jesus Christ;
- Invites the residents of Ballymena to fellowship at Victory Praise, where they will be made
  welcome and can feel totally at ease in the presence of God; and
- Brings a Godly presence onto the streets of Ballymena.
