For a number of years the church has been working in an area of Ballymena called Ballee. Many good things happened in the area over the years but we noticed that it was hard to bring the people that we were working with into the life of the church.

Two years ago Pastor Willis McDowell had a conversation with an elderly man from the area who made the comment that he found it hard to see a good film these days. This is where concept of the Film Shows was conceived.

As the church is well equipped with media and sound we can show old movies in a relaxed and comfortable cinema setting. Pensioners are invited to our monthly film shows where a delicious buffet lunch is served and a film is shown.

As a result of the Film Shows people started coming to the church on Sundays and many of whom have given their live to the Lord as a result.
